I don't know that I'd center it any more than it already is. The ADORABLE little guy is perfectly lined with that leaf, though. It keeps the eye moving, and a repetition of flowing lines is always cool to look at.

well it's not a spider, but it's an arachnid right?
what exactly is it then... and i like his little red friend. i haven't seen one of those since i lived up north. i believe most mites are rachs too... would make the big guy a mentor of sorts.
technical aspects check out fine. really nice depth of field and the centering is, unanimously, really good.
This is a snazzy pic. The only thing i can say though.... Is that i don't really like the angle of it, It would maybe look better if the camera were up higher, but not like, directly on top. if that makes sense? Cause the way it is makes it look kinda jumbled up to me, you can't see as much of it's body. BUT. if the camera were hella closer and pointed straight in it's face then that would be snazzy. cause then there would be a lot of detail, and it would be focused in the face instead of the whole thing. Or maybe i don't know what the hell i'm talking about because my ahltzheimers medication wore off and i need to be returned to my family.

I get what yer saying about the angle. I was gonna take several more, but I was also doing yard work and didn't wanna keep pestering it. LoL
Problem about getting it closer to it's mug is my lens. I only have the lens the camera came with, so the zoom is hardly what I want, but I dun have enough money to get a better one just yet. Also, for this one, I wanted to get it's whole body.

Although they belong to the class of arachnids, harvestmen are not counted as spiders, which are of the order araneae rather than the order opiliones. And yes, the little red mite is also an arachnid from the order acari. Wikipedia.
I wish I had a better lens, but the ol' financial situation doesn't allow it just yet.
